Generating map draft automatically

Instead of starting from scratch, this feature creates an initial draft to help you structure your ideas and speed up your workflow.

1. On your dashboard, click the New map button
2. Select Generate from prompt.

Once a new unnamed map is created, a dialog window will appear where you can select a template that best suits your needs.

• Use the description field to briefly explain your topic

• For example, if creating a content strategy map, enter:
  👉 "A SaaS software, Contextminds, that helps content marketers and writers brainstorm and structure their content."

1. Click the Generate new map button. The map will start generating and you will see it's preview. The generation can take a minute or two. 
2. Review the preview of the map. When it ends, you can expand the preview to fullscreen and decide whether it fits your needs. 
3. Click the Use this map draft to add it to your whiteboard.

If the generated map isn´t suitable, you can regenerate a new version by clicking refine your input.

The AI is not perfect and sometimes, it won't generate anything. You can always click the Generate new map button again and wait for a bit longer, or try changing the instructions and click Update map.

• Use the text box below the preview to provide further guidance.
• Example: "Add more specific keywords for content brainstorming."
• Click Update Map to create a refined version.

• If you want to try multiple versions, click Generate new map to start fresh while keeping your original input.
• Switch between generated versions using the left and right arrows above the preview.

• Use the zoom in/out buttons in the bottom-right corner
• Click fulscreen mode for a better overview of the generated map

With the Generate map from prompt feature, you can quickly create an organized starting point for your project. While AI-generated maps may not always be perfect, refining your inputs and generating different versions can help tailor the map to your needs.
