Adding new items to your concept map helps expand and structure your ideas. There are multiple ways to do this:

1. Use the "Toolbar"
- Drag and drop an item from the toolbar at the bottom of the map.
- Double-click anywhere on a blank space in the map.
- In the pop-up bar, select the desired item type.
- Click the "+" button next to any existing item to add a connected item.
- Find an item in the "Search" tab on the left and drag it into the map.

Speed up your workflow with these shortcuts:
Activate requested item by clicking on it and press:
- I → Add an item inside the current one.
- K → Add a new item to the left.
- L → Add a new item to the right.
Types of Items You Can Add
You can also add sub-items, which are thematically related to a main item. These help structure your map by specifying, supplementing, or expanding concepts.
